0:00.0	We live in a fast-paced, ever-moving world where everyone seems to be rushing in every direction.
0:14.3	And yet, in scripture, God desires to teach us that walking with him is our greatest and most important adventure.

1:01.1	and lesson for us to learn. There are many wonderful truths in the book of Ruth, but let's limit
1:06.2	ourselves to this great journey. Elimelech took a journey to Moab., he moved the wrong direction away from God. Let's look at the exact opposite of that. Elimelech is gone. His sons are gone. Naomi is left all by herself. She has two daughter-in-laws, and she says to them, I'm going home. By the way, that's always a good thing for a child of God to do. Go home. Come to the Lord. run to him. She said, I'm going home. By the way, that's always a good thing for a child of God to do. Go home,
1:27.9	come to the Lord, run to him. She said, I'm going home. And she says, I'm going home empty. And she
1:35.1	kisses them and she tells them goodbye. One of the daughter-in-law's Orpa leaves and she stays there
1:41.4	in Moab. But the other is the woman whose book we are reading, Ruth. Her very
1:48.8	name is on this beautiful little book because she was a woman of great faith in God. And there was a
1:54.3	moment, a moment in Moab where Ruth made the right decision. I would say it was a moment of truth.
2:01.7	It was Ruth's moment.
2:03.8	It was also Naomi's moment.
2:06.0	See, what you decide is not only going to determine your destiny,
2:09.6	but it's also going to affect others.
2:11.1	We keep coming back to that truth.
