Even though we expected that to happen,

the sight of it actually happening is dramatic.

And President Trump's appearance before the Israeli parliament

was fascinating on so many levels. It was a victory speech, sure. But it's the first

time I've ever seen the president give a speech where he mostly was about thanking other people.

Usually he is boasting of the accomplishments. This was, is a huge accomplishment, a massive accomplishment, a seemingly impossible accomplishment

for which Donald Trump deserves full credit.

A lot of people thought it would be impossible to do, and he did it.

And there were long speeches before him by Bibi Netanyahu and others, Israelis,

today, before the Knesset in Jerusalem. And there was so much sustained applause for Trump,

who kept saying the United States, you know, is Israel's best friend, but also made allusions,

not so subtle allusions,

to the fact that B.B. Netanyahu was difficult to deal with because Trump had to manage not only all the other Arab nations that contributed to this, but he had to push Netanyahu

into taking the win. And he started out very sober.

And then he sort of relaxed and ad-libbed a lot and made a few jokes. And so he didn't have to,

although he did at one point say, you know, November 5th, the day he was elected for the second

term, was when the U.S. began hot again.
