And little did we know we'd be starting off the year with such a bang, but if you added up all our

years of experience reporting, none of us have seen a week like this one, and none of us want

to see another one like it, where at the invitation and instigation of the President of the

United States, a mob of his supporters invaded and occupied the U.S. Capitol

for four hours and resulted in the deaths of five people, including that of a Capitol Hill police

officer, where again at the President's urging, seven U.S. senators and 138 members of the House

voted to overturn Joe Biden's victory in the 2020

presidential election and keep Donald Trump in the White House, where in response to both,

there's now active efforts to toss Trump out of the White House, either by the 25th Amendment

or by impeaching him for the second

time, and where finally, finally, Donald Trump finally admits that he will not serve a second
