Summary

I met today’s guest Chris Harder in a very unique way (you’ll hear the full story in the intro!) and I have to say he is an extremely kind and generous individual. After an 11-year career as an executive and partner in the banking industry, Chris was feeling burnt out and lacking fulfillment. Since then, he’s retired from banking and partnered with his wife Lori and her brand, LoriHarder.com, and Chris has now found the meaning that was missing in his previous career.

Chris is also the host of the hit podcast, For The Love of Money, which is aimed at helping people bust through their money blocks to become unapologetic about their pursuit of wealth and to show that money is a tool for good in a world with many, many needs.

In today’s episode we’ll be talking about money mindset blocks that keep us from reaching new levels of wealth, why our culture has a problem with generosity, how to work through financial issues with your partner and the things that Chris and Lori have done over the years to create a truly incredible relationship together!

And after the conference ended, a lot of the attendees were going to this local bar to hang

out on our last night together. So I got word on the street that this was happening and I decided to go.

0:46.2

Now, soon after entering this bar, I noticed over a hundred familiar faces. It was packed with people

0:53.0

who had gone to the conference. So it was an amazing

0:56.3

way to really connect with everyone even more after an amazing weekend at this event together.

So minutes after I walked in, this man came up to me and my friend who I was with and he asked

1:08.6

if we'd been at the conference. and when we told him that we had

he told me to give the bartender a password greatness and all of our drinks would be completely

paid for now I had no idea who was paying for all this and the man that shared that

1:22.7

information with me didn't know either he seemed just as excited and surprised as we did. All he told me was

1:30.1

what was shared with him. If I see anyone walk in who I knew was coming from the conference,

1:35.3

tell them the password to. Now, the night went by and no one seemed to know who the mystery donor was,

1:40.8

buying drinks and food for at least a hundred strangers. And that is until the end of the

1:46.4

night when someone in the know whispered this person's identity to me. His name was Chris Harder.

1:52.9

And spoiler alert, it was the same man who told my friend and I the password hours earlier.

1:58.8

Now, he took no credit for this good deed and genuinely just wanted the

people around him, most of them strangers, to have a good time. He didn't want them to know that it was
