A Midsummer Night's Dream

Once upon a time, in ancient Greece,

there was a young couple in love.

Their names were Hermia and Lysander,

and they spent all their time together.

Unfortunately, Hermia's father wished her to marry another man named Demetrius.

Now in Athens where they lived, there was a terrible law that held that any girl who refused

to marry according to her father's wishes could be put in prison.

It is not like this anymore.

When Hermia refused to marry Demetrius, her father was so angry that he actually brought her before the Duke of Athens to ask that she be locked up unless she obeyed him.

The Duke told her she had four days to think about it.
