Hey everyone, like many other podcasts, we're choosing not to put out an episode this week.

I wanted to let you know that our next episode is going to be pushed back into season 4,

because we want to make sure that we're always living up to our own standards of integrity and respect,

and it just didn't feel like the right time.

So instead, our team is working hard to put together an episode that will hopefully encapsulate

many of the things that we've previously talked about on American hysteria,

with the goal of creating a more comprehensive picture of the long-term issues that are at the heart

of the current nationwide and now global protests.

Our hope is that this extra episode can serve as a brief guide for those who may need more context

in understanding around this explosive movement, this explosive moment.

We believe that it's important to use the skills that we have to invite people into these difficult conversations

using the past to illuminate the present.

In the meantime, we'd like to direct your attention to some non-profits that could really use some help.

First of all, we love the People's Kitchen Collective, which we've mentioned before,

a program that was born out of the Black Panther's Free Breakfast Program,

and there are non-profit that provides hundreds of people a free, hot, nutritious breakfast in Oakland, California.

There's also a really amazing space where anyone can donate to Black folks directly

who have urgent and unmet needs.

You can make offerings of items or skills you might be able to share, and this is a national group.
