Hello there. This is not Yossi, obviously. This is Rob Yossi's friend and colleague. I apologize for not being Yassi. So as you might be aware, Yassi Salik lost her house last week in the devastating wildfires in and around Los Angeles. Yossi herself is safe. Her pets are safe. Shout out, Joey.

Her family is safe. She's with her family now. But Yasi lost practically everything. And in

particular, she lost so much of the music, the books, the T-shirts, the magazines, the priceless

ephemera that she's used to build this wonderful show. Yassi wants you all to know

that she's doing well and she appreciates tremendously all the kind words and support she's received

already on social media and otherwise. She has texted me a few times now about how she's crying

while reading some of your messages. It means the world

sincerely. But Bansplaine will need to pause for a little bit while Yasi takes care of everything.

The show will be back soon. Sit tight, but we just want to give her some space. There is a GoFundMe

for Yassi, and we'll put that link in the show notes.

It goes without saying, but of course still needs to be said that so many people are struggling

right now and have lost everything and need help. And all of us, Yassi included, encourage you

to likewise think of those people and help out where you can. She is so grateful for all of it.
