0:39.2	Well, it is. And on Memorial Day, we want to take a moment to reflect and think back and say thank
0:45.4	you to every soldier, every sailor, every airman, every Marine, every Coast Guardsman, every guardian,
0:51.7	who gave their lives for our nation. You know, Memorial Day is a very
0:56.8	different holiday from Veterans Day. Veterans Day, we say thank you to our active duty military. We say
1:02.0	thank you to those who have served, and we should do that today and every other day. But Memorial
1:08.1	Day is set aside for those who gave the last full measure of demotion,
1:12.7	the ultimate sacrifice, those who stepped forward and gave their lives. And every liberty we have,
1:19.5	every breath we breathe as free Americans is because men and women have answered the call.
1:25.9	They've answered the call, going back to the
1:28.0	Revolutionary War, to the War of 1812, going to the Civil War, War I, War II, going forward
1:34.5	to Korea, to Vietnam, to the war on terror. We have had servicemen and women for 250 years
1:42.1	stepping forward and saying, America is worth fighting for and I'm
1:47.8	willing to die for America and and far too many of them have had to give that final sacrifice
1:54.1	and so I want to say I want to give a special shout out to Gold Star families if you're a mom or
