reminder about letting go.

It is not the same as giving up.

It's not about becoming passive or resigned.

It's not about pretending that what you're releasing didn't matter or that losing it didn't

hurt. Letting go is about recognizing what you're holding on to,

something so tightly that your hands are cramping.

Your heart is racing, your energy is depleting,

and choosing to open that grip, even just a little, to see what happens when you stop fighting

so hard. And so maybe what you need to let go of is obvious. Maybe it's a relationship

that ended, but you're still trying to revive it, or a dream that's no longer aligned with who you've become,

or a version of yourself that no longer fits.

Or maybe what you're releasing is more subtle,

the belief that you can control how others perceive you,

the need to understand why something happened before you can

move forward, the story that you've been telling yourself about who you are, and it's keeping

you small. So what I want you to know today is that you already know what's ready to be released. Your body knows, your heart knows,

that tightness that you feel when you're thinking about it. The exhaustion that comes to mind
