The mayor of Prague has confirmed he's under police protection following claims he's been targeted by Russian assassins.

Earlier this week the Czech newspaper, Respect, reported that a Russian agent carrying Ryon had arrived in the Czech Republic.

Spokesperson called this report fake.

He said that the Kremlin was not aware of any investigation of whatsoever.

It can probably be said that the police protection has lasted since about Easter.

No date has been said for it to end. Sometime around the Easter I was contacted by the Czech police who said that they have identified a risk or a threat that could be linked directly to Russia and they strongly advised me that I should go under police protection.
