On July 31st, 2019, a young man was sentenced for the crimes he committed

against the people who stood in the way of his addiction. So if you like your coffee hot,

but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder. Grand Ternan

Amato was born on May 20, 1989 1989 in Chuliotta, Florida,

into a family with a mother and father, an older half-brother Jason, who lived away from the home,

and another Cody, whom he was incredibly close with. Attending Timber Creek High School,

both Grant and Cody joined the weightlifting

team together, and after graduation, both went on to attend the nursing school at the University

of Central Florida. Cody eventually graduated from the school's anesthesiology program, but Grant,

for unspecified reasons, dropped out and began working at the Advent Health Orlando as a nurse,

a job from which he was suspended in June of 2018, under suspicion of stealing, improperly administering medication, and suicidal thoughts.

Though there were later denials regarding his suicidal thoughts, saying that he did not

meet the criteria to be a danger to himself or others, there was allegedly proof to back

the claims about the medicine distribution.

Eight vials of the sedative propofal were found in two rooms that Grant had been overseeing,

none of which were ordered by the patient's doctors.
