than I am being held. And because of this hurt,

I've really needed to be held by God. And knowing that he cares about me so much, he wanted me

more healed than I would have chosen because sometimes it hurts to be healed. I'm grateful that he's so attentive to me.

At the very heart of God's will is that we develop this sense of gratitude,

even in the midst of trials.

For me right now, it's in his dogged, funny ability to stop the pattern.

And that's how gratitude for us right now is working.

We do really believe that if you practice gratitude because God's word says it,

maybe your circumstances won't change, but he can change your heart in the midst of it and your vision.
