It is the morning of Thursday, December 21st here as we get ready for the Louisville, Kentucky men's basketball game, which is set to tip off in about, let's see, seven hours away from right now.

Our deepest and most sincere apologies for being away for a couple of

weeks, the, uh, the, the Rutherford's got strep throat. Uh, Merry Christmas there. That was

fantastic. Uh, and then last week, I think we all were just kind of waiting to see, we didn't

want the podcast to be totally invalidated right after we recorded. There were all the news

swirling

about what was going to happen, what might happen, what might not happen. And so we were just

kind of waiting to have more information before we decided what we wanted to talk about because

basketball sort of felt secondary at that point. And now here we are. We have a game to talk

about. We've got rumors about Kenny Payne to talk about. We've got an athletic story to talk about.

We've got Jeff Brom Killing in the Transfer Portal to talk about.

Yeah, we're getting prepared.

I'm a big, like, last-minute procrastinator, shocker.

So, like, I know everyone orders their gifts on Amazon nowadays.

I feel like I'm still kind of the old school.

I kind of like to go out and get stuff, even though it's probably ridiculous that I do that.

But, yeah, probably going to do that but uh yeah probably gonna do that and then uh

yeah prepare for uh the root canal at six o'clock tonight realistically though like who do you shop
