Happy New Year 2024 delighted to be with you

So we have been off for two weeks from our regular show. The first week we were off I

guest hosted for Clay and Buck so many of you who overlapped with that audience heard me for that week and then last week I was off and it turned out to be really really fortunate timing because I ended up getting

knocked out with the flu and so while I didn't have a great week of laying on the couch and doing nothing and feeling great,

I did have a week of laying on the couch and doing nothing and feeling terrible, but it not affecting the show.

And that's okay. I would consider that a win.

So, I had a lot of time to think,

because I spend a lot of time doing the show,

our whole team does,

and I don't get to step back from it all and think about the bigger

picture and during that week I started making a list of all of the issues that are getting a lot of media attention,

that are getting a lot of grassroots attention across the country,

and it struck me that the list was so long that what

it does is like an army that's being attacked with a full frontal there's's one gal over here, one over there, and one it's,

we are pulled in so many different directions that perhaps we don't focus on what is most important.

Now, to be clear, we're outraged all the time.

We have outraged fatigue because we are outraged all the time and that's not accidental.

For two reasons, number one, outrageous things are being done and when they're brought to

your attention you're going to be outraged, but also

because media is an industry and if you're trying to get clicks or eyeballs or ears or interaction or attendance at a rally or what

You got to get people fired up.
