We wake up every morning, hoping that the morning that we wake up, that somehow we are going to be

out of this Blase-Met fandom that has now basically rolled into one ginormous depression ball

that we're all living together.

And there's a moment in every game where you just say to yourself, something's going to

happen and it's going to be negative.

Whether you're trying to get a guy out at third base on a sacrifice, but you can't do that.

So there's no run prevention.

Whether your million dollar, multi-million dollar closer, 13 million dollar closer can come on the field and

actually do his job can't do it can't do it when you have a highly touted japanese pitcher in your

in your pitching rotation and he comes out and he gets bombed immediately can't do it we don't really

have a first baseman now our big signings one's hurt one's protected and two have not lived up to

the back of their baseball card and it leads really into one depressing situation after the next.

And I don't want to be depressed.

I don't want to come in here and feel like I'm carrying the burden of a MET fan.

Because I know how the MET fan feels this morning.

I know how they felt yesterday morning.

I know how they felt a week ago I know how they felt a week ago.

It is just completely a disaster that has unfolded in front of our eyes. And this disaster,

and if I hear one more time, it's only April. It's one thing. It's only April. But 12 games,

a losing streak is not an anomaly.

That is something that is real.

That is something that you could look back in the history, in the anals of baseball.
