Hello everybody this is your last week of reruns before we get back to breaking down

episodes from season 9 yes we're so excited this week week we are re-running baby shower.

Yeah, and I recently came across an awesome quote from Melora Harden about this episode that I wanted to read.

Are you ready for this? Angela, I sent you this message and we were both like this is so Melora.

This is so badass Melora. Okay, here it is. She said, quote,

Greg and his wife Suzanne had me and my husband over for brunch along with Steve and Nancy Corel and their two kids.

My daughter Piper was just a few months old at the time.

We all sat down at the table and she was hungry so I just pulled my shirt down and

breastfed her because I was very committed to this idea that I don't really like

putting a thing over my baby's head when they're breastfeeding. I also feel like we live in a country where people can have a

gun rack in the back of their car but you can't breastfeed your baby in public

when that's what your boobs are for. She went on to say that this might have inspired a scene in the baby shower episode and I was like,

oh yes, I remember shooting something where she's nursing, but I don't think it ended up in the episode.

No it did not but it is in the deleted scene section on the DVDs and basically Jan

just as like it's time to breastfeed and she starts breastfeeding her baby in the

office and of course Kevin is totally preoccupied by it I would play it but it's more

of a visual joke but you know I'm so glad you found that quote because Jenna I

remember that about Melora I remember we were going to rehearse the scene in

the parking lot and she was walking up towards us and she had one of those baby slings on and her baby was in it and as she approached us she was just talking you know like we're going to map out the scene and her baby was nursing the

whole time yeah and she just was like zero fs I am living my life my baby's

nursing and I'm also working I am multitasking because I am a

freaking amazing woman. Well she was so inspiring to me because I just have those same
