Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the hump day edition of the yard. It feels like forever since I recorded. I do enjoy doing the show, but at times it gets to beat a bit of a grind. It does. And so I recorded, you know, so early, because I thought you guys would really want to hear from me on Labor Day. And labored on Labor Day. It's what we do. It's it's it's law for people like me but

it's good to be with you and I'm going to actually record this in parts this part is being

recorded before the coaches show. I'm so I'm going to record take a, go to the coaches show, come back, and finish you up. So you'll have anything that came from Jeff Levy. We've got some discussion about Kenny Bellingham and Arizona State. We're going to take our first segment and preview. Arizona State. We'll have a cool top 10 list for you. And then in addition to that, I'm going to address some things that were kind of in the Mississippi State conversation involving Zach Selman and some of our NIL stuff.

I've spoken to Zach.

I have spoken people in the Mississippi State Football Office, and I've got some information for you.

And the first thing that I want to say about that before we get too deep into

the reads the intention behind that article was very positive I think some people

kind of picked and choose a few words I didn't like and there were a couple statements

in there probably could have used a little more clarity but guys I think the most

important thing is we got to stop conducting

the autopsy, right? We have a segment of our fan base, and sometimes I've been guilty of it too,

okay? We have, but we have a segment of our fan base that it's like, man, we want to work so hard

to find someone to blame about something that no longer matters. And I think that's really

the message now, and it really kind of the message from Zach Selman and people in the Mississippi State

football office is like, you know, it's about our progress. Look at the progress that we have made.

Look at the commitment we have made to football, not about, hey,

we're going to just, you know, come out both barrels blazing and just kind of shooting darts at other people. I mean, that's not, and some people have kind of twisted those words and those comments, I think in a way that they were not intended. So again, we'll talk about that a little bit later in the show, but I wanted to get that out there first.

But man, one of the things I forgot to do, too, in my haste to record the show about to win, I didn't give our folks the Kalido Guitars a shout out.
