Recent coaches have succeeded over former coaches, Gus greater than Chiswick, Pearl, greater

than last 30 years, Butch Thompson greater than, et cetera. However, Mickey Dean, not as good as

Glenn Myers. Definitely, with all caps. So should we be happy with our programs in Allen Green? I am.

Obviously, you know, you look at it and Chisick has a national championship, but, you know,

I think you could argue Gus was definitely a part of that.

I told him we talk about it.

He said, I think just some of us fanatics

don't realize how good some slash most of our coach hires have been in program improvement.

However, programs on downturns must be addressed. So what are your thoughts on that?

I think the football conversation is interesting because it does feel like it's more stable. I mean, Gus Malazahn now will have had a longer tenure at Auburn than

Gene Chisick did as head coach. And I think you're right to point out, he got to a national

championship and won it. And Gus, you know, Clint came in and helped clean up some of that 2012, some of the failure there and got to a national championship.

And then 17 was close to getting into the playoff.

So, you know, I think that you can split hairs there if you'll want to look at consistency, the amount of wins per year, or who's sending more players to the draft.
