Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Homb Day edition of the yard. Some days, I don't know what day it is. I woke up yesterday thinking I needed to record the show.

Woke up today thinking I did need to record the show. Turns out I do need to record the show, so here we are. And I can't say that my mood is much better than it was on Monday or Sunday or

Saturday night. I'm like you. I'm not happy. And we've got to move forward. And the unfortunate

thing is you and I don't play in the game so we can, you know, we can mown a little bit longer

than perhaps the team can. But team back on the practice field on Tuesday, Monday, their mandatory day off.

Mike Leach told us on Monday that he thought Sunday was good.

You know, the reality of it is that this is a bad loss.

Now, this is not a situation where you say, hey, you can't let Kentucky beat you twice.

Alabama doesn't need any help, beat Mississippi's Day.

We're going to kind of break that down today. I'm not going to sit here and have a pity party for you, but I'll be honest with you. I mean, I do not have good feelings about the weekend, nor should we, right? We missed a golden opportunity last week, and now we've got Alabama. Then we'll have the buy week. So this malaise will likely

continue on social media and the message boards here until we, you know, play another home

game. Good chance to play Auburn. And the way they ran to football last weekend, that's far from

a sure thing. They have not played well. It's far from a sure thing. And so we can't afford to take anybody lightly.

Certainly not Alabama.

There's been one team that's had our number over the years.

It's been Alabama.

That's why you remember those wins so maybe distinctly

is because they don't come that often.

It's a reality of life.

It's hard for me to believe. We have not beaten Alabama

since the Sylvester Crew Mayor. Alabama, the only team in the Southeastern Conference,

Dan Mullen, never won a game against as the head coach at Mississippi State. Nearly pulled it off
