Beginning with your feet, feel them melt into the surface beneath you let this relaxation move up through your legs easing any

tightness there breathe deeply feeling your abdomen rise and fall with each breath.

Letting your chest and shoulders soften.

Now focus on your hands and arms.

Let them rest comfortably, releasing any stress.

And with every breath, feel your body becoming lighter, your mind quieter.

Picture a calm and soothing image, maybe a clear night sky or a calm sea and feel safe and peaceful.

With each breath you are closer to sleep,

ready to rest and rejuvenate for the day ahead.
