In John 1010, Jesus tells us that he came and died for us so that we can have and enjoy our life to the fullest until it overflows.

So life is a journey, and we only get one chance

to live it. Why then should we choose to make it through, just endure, or worse, hate the life we're

living? Today, Joyce will share how through following the Holy Spirit we can learn to love every

step of the journey with him. Now here's Joyce with today's teaching. When God first called me to do what I'm doing, Dave didn't really want anything to do with it. He wasn't mean about it, but he just said, that's just not what I want to do. Well, you know, I don't know what Dave might have ended up doing. He was in the engineering field. Dave talked a lot about maybe owning a driving range someday.

He would have loved that.

Dave is a good enough golfer that he could have probably

been a teaching pro, maybe not a touring pro,

but a teaching pro.

And he had to lay aside a lot of that things

that he liked to do in order to do this.

And you know, in all the years 40 years

that I've been teaching the word now listen now the first few years they were still working in

the engineering field so anything that I did during the day he wasn't able to go but he would go

to work and come home and go to meetings with me at night.

And after he quit the engineering field, I can safely say that there's maybe only been three times when I've been preaching like this, that he has not been sitting right

where he's at.

Thank you. that. Now that's laying down your life for somebody else. And you know what? Because he was willing to do that, look at the people that were're getting to help today.

And I wonder maybe if you would be willing to sacrifice a little bit more,

if there might be some miraculous secret in it,
