Zoe is a church about Jesus for Jesus, and all we do is preach Jesus.

We're excited because this Pentecost Sunday, we're tuning into a message called A Life Worth Dying for out of John Chapter 11.

Jesus says, I am the resurrection and a life.

Okay, John Chapter 11, we're going to jump into verse 25 here in just a moment.

But let me give you just a little bit of context, okay?

We find Jesus and his friends, his disciples, and they're meeting together in a room,

and all of a sudden they get, you know, someone running into the room urgently,

and they tell Jesus, Jesus, your close friends, some teologians would say that this person was Jesus'

his best friend, your best friend Lazarus, is sick in a need of a cure. And so all of us,

you know, all of Jesus' friends and disciples like, yo, we got to go to Bethany. That's where

he is. We got to go to Bethany to that little suburb in Jerusalem. And we got to rescue. We

have to save Lazarus. And Jesus, not being in a hurry, not being in a rush, not being frantic or full of anxiety,

he waits two full days before he goes to meet Lazarus. And can I just encourage you,

no matter how frantic we are about our problems, God's not scared. He's not afraid or intimidated or

anxious. Nothing surprises him.

Nothing that you can encounter or experience.

Does God look at and go, I'm going to leave you alone for this one?

He's not afraid.

He's not surprised.

He's not taken off guard.
