Here this year, several deaths by suicide of college athletes again open up a conversation

about mental health and college sports.

Since March, three student athletes have taken their own lives across the country.

Pressures from success, scholarships and, yes, even sponsorships have helped lead to a

mental health crisis in college sports.

While mental health is more openly talked about, there is still a stigma surrounding the

conversation.

And so today, we're replaying an episode that originally aired back in 2019.

I spoke with the athletics, Armin Ketan, about two college football players, two players

whose lives followed very different paths, one tragic and one uplifting.
