lived on the road to Amas. Dr. Arthur Just,

the professor of New Testament at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana,

seasonal pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Naples, Florida, and author of several books,

including his latest ever to Amas, a theological memoir. Dr. Just, welcome back.

Hey, good to be with you and so delighted that we're going to have a chance to talk about

Amas. Why have you spent so much of your life and your work focusing on and kind of doing

your theology from those handful of passages in Luke 24, The Road to a Mass.

It's not a long story, but it's really a story about the way in which I studied with the various

people over the years. When I was in Middletown, Connecticut as a pastor, I worked at Yale Divinity School for my

STM with a number of different people. And I took a course in Luke. I had taken it, of course,
