| 0:00.0 | Good news. We're back. It's the Kidcratic Morning Show. |
| 0:08.3 | You can be a part of the show anytime you want it, 800, 543-3548. |
| 0:12.8 | Got a text here. And again, these, I don't know how to feel about these from time to time. |
| 0:16.6 | What up? Good morning, crew. |
| 0:18.6 | Hey, crew. Hey, hey. Long-time listener, first- time watcher. They're watching us on kid TV. Oh, hello. What are your thoughts? How do we look today? I finally get to put faces to names. Oh, no. And they did the happy face that's the colon with like the D. So it's like a big smile. Okay. So that's why I'm wondering, what your thoughts because after that they wrote Kelly is the only one that looks like how I thought they would look. And then they put the hmm emoji. Okay. So what's that mean for us? There's no follow up? No follow up. No follow up. Who let you down the most? Oh, yeah. Oh,'t ask that. Because obviously it wasn't Kelly. Well, that might have been a let. Maybe it's like, oh, she does look like I thought she would. It could be asked. The smiley face they chose for this is the like, wow. Aw. And then after. I'll choose to accept that. So yours is positive. I'm fairly certain. Ours is the, hmm. Hmm. Which is where it leaves me in the anxiety world. I'm always curious to know what I sound like I look like. Yeah. Like do I... We're the rest. Face it, guys. Do we look? No, it's not, it's about, I know, but I'm saying. Did we leave you? |
| 1:28.0 | It's a photo. She, they let, we let her down with looks. Somebody did. One of us did. Maybe let, maybe let down is not the approach. Maybe just surprised. It's just different. You know, we still have unexpected. I remember my first DJ I ever saw. It was traumatic. It was traumatic. Really? I was a teenager. I remember I was working at Go West in the Florence Mall. Let us bring out the cowboy and you. And there was a jello jump. They used to have DJ's jumping jello to raise money. So anyway, in the nighttime DJ with that sexy voice, you have this vision of what he's going to look like. |
| 2:01.9 | And then he walked by, go west. |
| 2:04.5 | I was destroyed. |
| 2:06.5 | In a good way? |
| 2:07.6 | No. |
| 2:08.9 | That was the sexy voice that I've been listening to covered in jello with his big bald spot and his beer gut and pastey white barefoot because you have to jump in the jello in like a swim trunks it was so disappointing and i mean |
| 2:23.3 | that gutted me i can understand when people finally see the the what they've imagined even if it's good it's just different |
| 2:29.8 | than what you thought yeah it's like casting when you have a book you love, a book series. |
| 2:35.4 | So true. |
| 2:35.9 | And you have this vision of who the actor should be, and it's not that guy. And it's... Excellent comparison. You have this visceral reaction to it. Okay. Okay. So it could be... It could be in a good way, surprise. It could be a good way, but they... They haven't sent back a response to let us know who let them down yet. |
| 2:52.4 | But we did get a text that said, I picture J.C. looking like Nev from Catfish. All right. Yeah. I don't, though. He's a good looking guy. Yeah, but we don't look alike. He kind of has that just like host vibe. The hosty vibe? Hostess with the mostest. Also from the text, and this might be divisive. Because we've talked about trick-or-treating. And I used to fall, when I first moved here, I said, I think the cutoff for trick-or-treating should be like 13. I have changed my vibe on that. I think you should. That's because your kid's gotten older. And he's taller than you. It applies to you. It's to you. And I think it was when we bought our first home and I saw older kids come by and I was like, they're being kids. As long as they do it in the right spirit. And it was cool to see the older kids that were maybe like 15, 16 still trick or treating, but being so excited to get a candy bar. I'm like, oh, this is really cool. |
| 3:41.1 | They're still being, instead of going out there and Tee peeing houses and nagging people and doing the tricks, they were, they were being kids. Holding on to their childhood. They were holding on to their childhood. So I saw that as a positive. But how do we feel about this one? From the text, I'm totally okay with teenager trick-or-treating. I think it's cool. But can we talk about the parents? Thank you. |
| 3:59.8 | Who come with their newborn? Thank you. Hold on a second. The newborn ain't eating the Reese's peanut butter cups. It doesn't have tea. And it's full, they got a full pillowcase of candy. Thank you. No, that's not right. That's not right. |
| 4:14.6 | I know you want everybody to see your baby dressed up like a pumpkin or whatever they are. That's cute. But it really gets under my skin because I buy a certain number of candy bars so I can keep track of how many kids. And then when a parent comes, I'm like, well, I'm not going to tell you no, you can't have one. but I don't, yeah, I don't like that. |
| 4:31.2 | You have excessive kids from other neighborhoods coming to your neighborhood. |
| 4:33.9 | I don't care. |
| 4:34.4 | I don't, yeah, I don't like that. |
