Hi, it's in, and this episode is just going to be me because I wanted to share a personal

story and it will become pretty clear in a second why I wanted to do it alone.

However, first, I wanted to start off the episode with a moment of reflection.

I started this podcast with my dad in hopes of bringing more harmony between our generations.

And with each passing episode, and we're at 20 now, I am more convinced than ever of

how big this problem really is.

And it's not just between our generations.

The entire country is gripped by divisiveness.

The podcast has also been a learning journey for me.

Every episode I learned something new about what it really means to create that harmony

and the role I play.

But through all the twists and turns, one thing has become absolutely inescapable.

The heart of all of it is that it starts at home.

Finding harmony has to start between every parent and their child learning how to connect

in an open and healthy way.

Now I'm using the word connect instead of communicate because what I'm talking about

is a lot deeper than simple communication.

I want parents and kids to go deeper than just communicating in a healthy way, but connecting

with each other in a deeply profound way.

And as cheesy or cliche as it may sound, I think the best word that people can use to

describe this connection is love.

And we all hear all the time.
