Well I woke up this morning with a little bit of a pit in my stomach honestly I I will be

completely honest that I had actually messed up the days for the USA Serbia game.

So I woke up and I was like, oh, I guess that game was today.

Because I'm in Asia.

And so now because I knew it in the gold medal game was.

And I was like, all right, do I check it?

Do I not check it?

Because we had this big travel day today.

We were taking the train from Sapporo to Tokyo.

Had to pack up all of our stuff for like two months

worth of this trip and wrangle the whole

family and get on the train and navigate kind of the unfamiliar environment, although it was

seamless and wonderful in the end.

But, so I was like, do I want to not check it?

And then I'll just download it without seeing who won and watch it on the train.

I was like, no, I can't do that.

So found out that USA1, but minimal stuff other than that and yeah I mean

I'll start off just by saying really glad we won this is the one this is the one

thing that I'm actually still a fan of when it comes to basketball and so I definitely was rooting for this to happen and it happened in a way that really gave some of our best players one more magical moment because we talked about this that in their NBA lives they kind of have fallen off irrelevance a little bit so to give them a chance to do it

K.D. the best American and I think best international basketball player ever.

Steph Curry in his first Olympics and LeBron together for the first time was a very special moment.

It was. I'll note that I also didn't watch it live, but I didn't find out the result.
