So I think the question on everyone's mind, you work with couples specifically to help them craft this ring that's basically the period on a very special day.

How does one go about even preparing to budget for this timeless piece of jewelry?

It's an excellent question and I think it probably goes without saying that it's a very personal decision.

There are kind of old rules or philosophies where you should be investing three months salary on an engagement ring,

but I think a lot of those rules have kind of like

fallen to the side and I think that people really have to determine what they're comfortable with and

yeah what feels comfortable for them like I don't think it's something you should you know push yourself hard on in terms of budget but what feels like a an investment like a gesture but not you know pressure yourself from an investment or budget perspective. And it's very similar to a wedding it's like couples like how much

should I spend on a wedding and I'm like it it really is kind of up to you there are

averages there are kind of concepts of what you could spend but it's really what works within your budget
