moments, well, because they're very memorable. So when we're watching it on TV, it's not the big

moments, but how they do the big moments.

And that's a big thing.

We've got a lot of emotion wrapped up in this.

Some of us read this novel, you know, 20 years plus ago,

and you don't have to have to have to have that feeling of,

I sure hope this is good.

So when you do see it come out well, it's a mixture of great feelings, one of which is relief.

Like, ah, they got it right.

Many of us love Dunkin Egg, you know, long before the notion of a TV show, even the first

TV show was a thing.

And we loved Baylor Brakespeare back then, too.

He's one of the characters that's central to the story for obvious

reasons. We'd be pretty upset or at least annoyed or something if they got him wrong. And one of the

joys of knowing what's coming as well is you get to vicariously live through your friends and

family who haven't seen it. And that's been a lot of fun. We knew it would be, but it's gone farther than we thought.

There's been more of it. The internet's exploded. If you told me that Baylor-Berkespeare would be

internet famous and getting memed all the time and be so popular, I mean, we knew he deserved it,

but did millions and millions of other people?

Well, they do now. It's really amazing to see this happen. He's pretty obscure when you get into it. You know, I mean, not anymore. He's not obscure anymore, y'all. He was obscure. So, yeah, a few weeks ago, he was obscured. Now he's a hero. Like, yeah, just like, kind of like how Duncan's going to be. So he's a real one.

He's an exception to Raymond's rant, a person of incredible privilege and power who put himself at risk for principles. People loved the egg reveal, but they loved him before that. Like, it didn't change necessarily how much you liked him, maybe made it more interesting. Maybe it changed a little bit, but it was a gradual thing. With Baylor, it was, whoa, holy crap, I like this guy.
