The The A new sun rises, and as darkness falls, a shooting star blazes across the sky.

I kind of feel like the entire fandom saw that

shooting star, and we all got the luck contained therein because it's a great debut for a Night of

the Seven Kingdoms. Almost everyone is very pleased or extremely pleased. Most of the fandom seems overjoyed with the reaction

results and so are we. It's the Hedge Knight coming to the big screen and it's great. There's a lot

of direct quotes from the Hedge Knight in this first episode. A lot of things are almost word for word,

actual word for word in a few cases. George R. Martin calls it a faithful adaptation.

I can definitely see why, having seen this first episode,

there is a lot of new dialogue,

but they managed to add things without subtracting from the original.

It was more like filling in rather than a lot of changes.

They certainly leaned into comedy, and that seemed to work.

They certainly had a lot of great jokes mixed in. This episode will have a spoiler-free first portion

and a spoiler-filled second half, and it will contain Ashea, Sean, and myself Aziz.
