let's just dive in. All right let's do it. So tier 4 begins with

Duncan the Tall joins the Knights Watch following the events at Summer Hall if Sir Duncan the Tall did survive

it's likely he would need a new purpose in life

the death of many members of the Royal Family, perhaps even to some

degree of his involvement, may cause Sir Duncan the tall the need to flee. As the King's Guard Lord Commander, the safety of the Royal Family is solely on his shoulders.

In Game of Thrones, we see King Joffrey Barathian dismiss Barriston the Bowl, Barristin Selmy, the legend. So perhaps Duncan was fearful of being

dismissed or fearful of the talk of the citizens of King's Landing after such a tragic event.
