Today's talk is going to be vastly different than what you're used to.

Some of you might need to get some sand paper out and sand some of the corners off.

But I want to process something, and again, process is a key word.

But I want to prepare you for what I want to share with you this morning. I want to,

I want to engage with you in a little bit different. I wasn't actually supposed to preach this

morning. I was supposed to do Cathgate and tonight's service, but dad texted me late last night

and asked me if I would take these services so he could do the Cascade and tonight. And I said,

of course. And so I had been sitting on this all week. And I didn't,

honestly, I did not plan to share it specifically today until late last night. And in many ways,

I'm thankful that I get to share this now because it wouldn't make sense to share in a week

from now. And so I believe we're, I believe we're in a cultural

moment. I believe there's something that's taken place in the last week that I know I want to

give attention to it. And again, I want to encourage you, this is a process. I want to just

be honest with you and open with you. We're not going to be unpacking scripture today.

We're not going to be diving into that. I want to just talk about something a little bit

different that I actually think will be helpful for all of us at some point. A cultural moment is

a moment that happens in culture that causes multiple things to happen. One, sometimes more.
