We love it so much.

I learned something so cool.

And if you are like a teacher, but like older kids, like high school or college, I guess, heads up, because this is really fascinating, just the smell of coffee gives people a brain boost,

just the smell of it.

And they tested this in a couple of different ways.

And one of the ways that they did was they gave people an algebra exam.

And they gave some of the people the algebra exam in a room

that had the smell of freshly brewed coffee pumped into it and the other people took the

algebra exam in a room that didn't have the smell the freshly brewed coffee smell and the people

that walked into the coffee room said they knew from the soon as they

walked into the room, they felt confident. They felt focused. They felt able to deal with the math

problems. They had higher expectations of themselves. So the thought was, well, maybe that's like a

placebo effect. Or it's maybe like this complex kind of remembering like there's the smell of coffee

I remember how alert coffee makes me feel and it kind of tricks you but the bottom line was

even without drinking coffee taking in the caffeine students had better metal functioning

and better scores on that exam than the ones in the room that didn't smell like freshly brewed coffee.
