Summary

I have skipped Steps 6 & 7 in this series. I had forgotten that the speaker of that portion had asked that it be removed. I am posting the remainder of the speaks omitting that one. (If you need 6 & 7 for continuity just do a quick search in your podcast app (I have a number of them) & pop back here. My bad, but its hard to remember every detail after 3k+ episodes :) We are taking A Journey Through The Steps with the 2018 Atlanta Girlstock Conference. Georgia B from La Crescenta CA is next sharing on Steps 8 and 9. Part 5 of 7. We're all so different, and our stories are so rich and heartbreaking and beautiful.

And I for so long wanted to mold myself to be like other people,

1:14.4

so I could feel like I fit in to feel like I belonged. And it's those things that make us different

1:20.7

that really make us beautiful. And it's those, the pains that we have and the differences that we

1:25.6

have and when we share them that unite us, rather than me trying to mold myself to be like you, it's to cultivate those things that make me different and unique.

And those pains that I've had and experiences that have created who I am today, those are the things that I bring to you and celebrate with you. And I'm so struck by that in the panel of speakers. There were so different and so alike all at the same time. I love Denise. I had a, I fly some. I wouldn't say I love it. I have grown to, you know, just do it. And so our flight was an hour late, and we were here in Atlanta at the landing time, and we apparently came down to the airport. We did some like roller coaster action and then we

2:33.6

I think we have enough gas until we can try and figure

2:41.0

this out and decide what to do next. I saw the pilot, too. He was really young, and I'm like,

2:46.7

dude, words. Use your words. That was, so I'm sitting next to this little girl who's traveling
