On today's episode, we're wrapping up the Easter series with a journey through Holy Week.

So you can be thinking and meditating on Christ and all that He endured in the days leading

up to the cross and most certainly resurrection Sunday.

One of my favorite narratives on this is a synthesized summary from Russ Ramsey.

He pastors Christ Presbyterian in Nashville and is a very gifted writer on these sorts

of narratives, having one on both Advent and Jesus' life and death and resurrection.

And so I want to walk you through his narrative as a journey through Holy Week.

Maybe you come from a church background and you've never thought really deeply about

what is happening from Palm Sunday through to Resurrection Sunday or maybe you're newer

to the faith or you've never really studied this and this can be a very helpful way for

you to meditate on Christ and make the most out of Holy Week.

First up, Palm Sunday.

For a full account of the events that happened on this day, you'd go to Matthew 21, 1 through

11, Mark 11, 1 through 11, and Luke 19, 28 through 44, and then John 12 verses 9 to 19.

When Jesus rode into Jerusalem, perched up on a cult on Palm Sunday.

It was the first time since raising Lazarus from the dead that he'd shown his face in

the city.

The story of Lazarus' resurrection had circulated so that even those who only heard about it

later regarded Jesus as a celebrity.
