We are T-minus 12 days or so to June 2nd when A.J. Brown could conceivably finally join the Patriots.

And nature abhors a vacuum.

So the time between the courtship of A.J. Brown and the consummation of this particular union with the Patriots,

we had James Palmer from Bleacher reports speculating that other teams might jump into

the fray, Mike Garifolo from NFL media, mentioning that, hey, man, this might drag out

until July.

But Adam Schifter, there's a reason he's got the followers he does and the paycheck he does.

He's pretty persuasive in general. So when Adam is this adamant about something, I tend to believe that either

Howie Roseman or Elliott Wolf is dropping dimes and letting him know. Here's Adam Schaefter talking

about the likelihood of A.J. Brown to the Patriots still. I still think that the New England Patriots are going away the lead contender to land A.J. Brown this offseason.

I don't care what other teams come up in connection with A.J. Brown trade talks between now and June 1st.

Don't care about what other conversations there are. These other

teams have had their opportunities throughout the offseason. There were conversations with the

Rams that did not result in a deal. I don't know about Jacksonville. I don't even know where

that's coming from, but I still think that the New England

Patriots make the most sense. Now, I do think that these rumblings, while interesting, are really

a byproduct of national media folks spitballing. Then I'm going to stand there and say it's done.

It's definitely happening until it's done indefinitely happening.

So if you're on a radio show or doing a podcast, you're going to entertain the idea that might be other landing spots out there.

Nothing wrong with that.
