Congressman Mike McCall struggled over what to do. A veteran Republican from Texas, he

had voted to certify the Electoral College results that Joe Biden had won the November

election, only to get his district office vandalized with protesters spraying it with the

words swamp trader. He was, he says, appalled by President Trump's rhetoric at the January

6 rally that riled up the mob at assault at the Capitol. In the end, after going back

and forth, he voted against impeaching Trump, saying he was uncomfortable with the house

rushing through such a historic move. But McCall also isn't letting the matter drop.

He's formally asking the Justice Department to more fully investigate the president's

conduct to determine if Trump took other steps to incite the riot at the Capitol and then

failed to protect lawmakers when it was clear they were under attack. We'll talk to McCall

about how he views the president he has long supported, and his concerns about the growing

domestic terror threat and the future of his party on this episode of Skull Duggery.

Because people have got to know whether or not they're president or subcrime, well,

I'm not a crook. I told the American people I did not trade arms for hostage. My heart
