Job chapter 6 verse 10 this would be my comfort.

I would even exult in pain unsparing for I have not denied the words of the holy one.

Did you hear that last praise?

This is Job in the middle of this struggle of faith, and he says,

for I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

Job is saying amidst the suffering he's experiencing, that he wants to hold fast to the words of the Holy

One and not deny them, distrust them in any way.

When I read that, I just think, yes,

I want that in my life.

And I want to lead us to pray for that in each of our lives,

that no matter what we may find ourselves walking through in this world that we would

trust always in God's word that we would not deny the words of God, the promises of God that are the

rock to stand on when we're walking through suffering, the commands of God that we would follow his commands even when we're in the dark

and things are not working out the way we want that in no way you or I would deny the words of the Holy One, distrust or disobey the words of the

Holy One.

And just think about that, the the Holy one his words are perfect his words are true when we walk through dark days struggles of faith cling to the word of God. Hide it in your heart and let it be the rock upon which

you stand when everything else is falling apart.

Know that the holy one has spoken and you can trust God's words.

Oh God, we praise you for your word, especially when we walk through difficult

days and there's so many things we don't understand and we're confused about and we can't

see, we praise you for your word that we can see that
