0:12.5	to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Jesus himself said of John
0:19.1	that he was the greatest of those born of women.

0:27.5	but his greatness was in his task, introducing people to Jesus.

1:04.6	a little more carefully at John himself. We're talking about his testimony, why the Lord used

1:13.8	today. We've discovered, first of all, that this man that Jesus said was the greatest man born of
1:19.6	woman was a humble man. We learned that in Mark chapter 1. He was a man filled with humility because
1:26.7	he had his eyes on the greatness of God.
1:29.3	When you come to Luke chapter 1, we're reminded of another truth.
1:32.8	Not only was he a humble man, he was a holy man.
1:37.3	You see, when you come to Luke chapter number one, you come to the truth that God set John apart.

1:46.5	he lived in the wilderness. He wasn't different because he was trying to be different. He was different
