Welcome, Dr. Young. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Tray, same to you, man. It's great to be here today.

All right. Here's what I want to do. I want to ask you some questions about Christmas from a theological standpoint. And then I want to ask you some questions about Christmas from a theological standpoint,

and then I want to ask you one question about the new year.

So going back to Christmas, why an unwed mother, why a stable,

why such a modest entry into the world?

That's an easy line of questioning there, huh?

Well, you're smart.

Yeah.

So I don't know if that's anything to do with being smart.

I think that God is a God who has come to us in such an

amazing, unpredictable, and humble way. And so God chose not to enter in the world through a massive

amount of fireworks and technology that would woo

everyone, but he chose to come into the world through this poor mom through a manger.

And it's through that manger that we have one of the windows into the very

heart of God. All right. That is beautifully said. And it also forces me being the cynic that I am
