At Srebrenica in the summer of 1995, thousands of men and boys were rounded up and murdered by

Bosnian Serbs. It was the greatest single atrocity on European soil since the defeat of Nazi Germany.

The killing had been going on for three years as Bosnian Serbs fought to carve out an ethnically

pure territory by killing or expelling their non-serve neighbors.
