Hi, everyone. It's Valkyrie, New York. There are developments this afternoon across a number

0:11.4

of those investigations into ex-president Donald Trump. We'll get to those in just a minute.

0:16.2

But first, we pick up live coverage of Hurricane Idleia, the strongest storm to make landfall

0:21.8

on the big-ben region of Florida in generations, actually going back 127 years. Right now,

0:29.2

it's a Cat 1 hurricane. Thankfully, that is an improvement when it first made landfall.

0:34.6

But it did. It slammed head on into Florida as a Cat 3 with 125 mile-an-hour winds. This

0:41.8

is what that actually looks like or looked like in Keaton Beach, Florida. Earlier this afternoon,

0:59.8

thankfully seems to be receding here after all these storm surge. But I just wanted to show you

1:03.6

1:08.6

the wind, we saw a lot of tree damage, Chris. A lot of tree damage, down power lines. You can kind

1:14.7

1:22.4

through. It's really as remarkable when you see the intensity of the storm, the power of a hurricane

1:28.0

as it comes on shore. As you said, that's our colleague, Gabe Gutierrez. He spent his morning in

1:33.1

Perry, Florida. That's about a half an hour north. That's where roaring winds blew over this

1:38.2

gas station awning before knocking out a billboard right where Gabe was doing some of his reporting.

1:43.9

A few minutes later, Gus nearly lifted him and his crew and their equipment, including their

1:49.0

camera right off the ground. Watch that moment. The winds here, wind Gus, I'm told are over 100 miles

2:00.2

an hour. And we are really feeling the front of this storm. An unprecedented storm hitting the

2:08.3

Big Bang area. They have never seen a storm that powerful in terms of wind surge.

2:15.3

Again, italia is now a cat one storm, but there is still a high degree of threat to human lives
