Hey, podcast world. Thanks for tuning in to Upper Room Dallas this week's sermon. It is Michael Miller,

and I am continuing to talk about how to build a life that God rests upon and a massive

principle is the fear of the Lord. It's a topic you don't hear a ton about, but it has

marked my life personally. It's marked my life as a leader and pastor. I read a book by John

Bavir in my early 20s that has saved me actually around the fear of the Lord. It's tethered me

to him. The fear of the Lord actually keeps us close to the Lord. It's tethered me to him. The fear of the Lord actually

keeps us close to the Lord. It is to love what he loves, to hate what he hates. And I have been

attempting to apply this to my life for some time. And so I just kind of crack open this principle

in my life and my story with it. I think you're going to enjoy it.

I think it'll be really edifying at the end. It's very practical. So buckle up. May the breath of God be

upon this word and may it bless your heart. May you grow in the knowledge of him. May you

continue to sense his nearness, his pleasure, his love, his guidance, his wisdom,

and all that you do.

And glory is a very sound word.

It's a biblical word.

But I want to set the presence of his glory or the presence of Jesus before us because

I said it earlier, but when you get the smallest little taste of it, you're ruined for anything
