So welcome to Flodcast, episode 401. My name is Douglas Wilson. I'm glad you're here. So I want to talk a little bit here about the J6th aftermath. What are some of the takeaway lessons? So you remember back when the election of 2020 was going to be certified. There was a protest in Washington. There

was a demonstration at the Capitol, and there was an incursion into the Capitol. Some people,

just walking around, other people being rowdy and disruptive, misbehaving. So the J6th incursion into the capital. So I want to talk about

the aftermath and the lessons from the aftermath. And I think I might surprise you with what I say

here. It's just recently been revealed that the FBI had 274, I think that's the number, I've heard 275 and 274, but 274 FBI assets or agents

or people on the ground in the crowd in the J6th incursion. That's a lot of people. What were they doing there? What's the,

what was the point? And why has it taken years to get this information? Ostensibly,

they're there to help with crowd control, but did they? Did they help with crowd control? Or did they egg people on? What was their

role there? When it was proposed, when Nancy Pelosi turned down, calling out of the National Guard,

which would have precluded any of this from happening, and she turned that down, What's going on? What's with that? So very,

very plainly, very clearly, the feds were all over this protest, right? There's the famous footage

of Ray Epps, taunting people, challenging people, and we have to go into the Capitol. We have to do

this. We have to do this. We have to do this. And the crowd around them starts yelling, fed, fed, fed, fed, fed. All right. So, what are the takeaway lessons? Here's the takeaway lesson. I think all of this demonstrates how mind-bogglingly stupid the incursion into the capital was. Just simply stupid. When you look at

how easily these patriots were duped, set up, walked right into a trap. You know,

basically I saw a meme once where someone said,

J6 wasn't an insurrection, but it should have been, right?

Well, an actual insurrection would have had more organization.

There would have been more guns.

There would have been, there would have been more peasants with pitchforks. There would have been more guns. There would have been, there would have been more peasants with

pitchforks. There would have been more of an intention to take, seize, and occupy. But this was

nothing like that. It was just sort of a mindless groupthink surge that had a bunch of feds woven all the way through it,

which means that everybody there, everybody in that crowd, everybody who thought it was a good idea, got played.
