Hello everyone, welcome to another Tuesday's with Trey.

Today is the 4th of July.

Our own Welcome to the World Day and one of which we celebrate what it means to have the privilege of calling this country home.

It's a day of fun and sun and spending time with people we care about, but it's also a day to reflect on what the word freedom means, what it meant when Thomas Jefferson first wrote it,

what it means today, how it has evolved, how we have evolved as a country, as a people, a day to celebrate the progress while we are also ever mindful of the arduous path we took to get to the reality that is really true.

All men and women are created equal in the eyes of their Creator.

First part of the Declaration of Independence justifiably gets a lot of attention.

It's famous, aspirational words written as a word, the ideal even if it took centuries for it to be more fully recognized.

But we should also be mindful of how that Declaration of Independence ends.

After all those aspirational words we have so often heard came the evidence to prove the bill of particulars if you will as to why we were doing what we did.

And then it ends with this.

And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other.

Our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
