Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Thursdays with Trey. We are so grateful for

0:24.2

you and your questions. We look forward to it and you keep us thinking throughout the

0:28.4

week. As you may have noticed, Trey isn't with us this week. And don't worry, Trey will

0:33.4

be back with more of your questions. Have a great week.

0:37.2

All right, we'll start with our first question. It's from Keras in South Carolina. She writes,

0:41.9

my question is, why are we still buying Putin's gas?

0:46.4

What a beautiful name. First of all, Keras.

0:50.4

From the great state of South Carolina. Well, Keras, I'm happy to tell you that as of

0:57.1

Monday, March the 7th, I think the United States has decided not to buy all the gas from Russia and

energy independent, which I think we were trending in that direction or or

1:48.3

reliant upon a different energy sources not named ol and gas, the US is going to have to get

1:55.4

it from somewhere. And if it's not Russia, if we're not going to do it here and we'll get to that

2:02.0

in a second, but if we're not going to do it here, does that mean Venezuela? I mean, that's not a

2:07.1

real friendly country to the United States. Saudi Arabia, that's not like, they don't get like

2:14.2

all A's when it comes to human rights. Iran, I mean, I don't know, unless it until the US

2:23.1

is energy independent fully or only dependent upon our allies, or there is some alternative

2:30.2

ol and gas with which to power our lives and our economy, then I guess they're going to have to go
