Hello, I'm Mayor D. Hussain and this is a message for the deconstructed audience and audience

that I have great fondness for. I appreciate you all tuning in week after week, month after

month, year after year. We've been running, we've been on air for over two and a half

years now since the start of 2018 and it has been a fantastic journey building this show

with all of your engagement, involvement, feedback. And you may have noticed in recent weeks

that I haven't really been around, my colleague, the DC bureau chief for the Inset Ryan Grimm,

has been managing the shop he's been hosting this show brilliantly on my ad. And the reason

for that is that last week's show about whether Donald Trump will go or not, which I did host,

is actually going to be my last show. I won't be back for any future shows. I'm very, very sad to tell you.

It's actually upsetting for me to do this message. I didn't realise it would be because I've

been recording this show for so long and enjoyed it so much that to tell you all that I'm leaving,

I'm off to new pastures and I won't be able to present deconstructed any longer. It's something

I maybe haven't fully digested yet, but that's what I wanted to tell you in this special message

to all of the deconstructed audience. I wanted to say a big thank you to all and a goodbye

from the bottom of my heart because it has been a lot of fun and I hope you've enjoyed it.

And Ryan has been doing a great job of presenting the show. I'm going to be handing over to Ryan Grimm

who actually is with me on the line right now. Ryan, are you going to take care of my baby?

We promised not to trash the place. I believe you, Ryan. I fully believe you. I know you've done

a great job. How much of you enjoyed presenting the show in recent weeks?

I've liked it a lot and my favourite part about it is that you've set up a relationship with your

audience where they expect not to be treated like children, not to be spoken down to. And so that

means that we can pick topics that we otherwise might avoid. For instance, we did an episode on QAnon
