| 0:08.0 | Are you ready to get your mind online with the truth of God? |
| 0:12.0 | We're going to be doing so today by looking at Daniel, chapter 5 verses 1 through 12. |
| 0:16.0 | It's kind of a long passage so we're going to dive right into it. |
| 0:20.0 | It begins by saying, King Bell Shazzar made a great feast for a thousand of his lords. |
| 0:25.0 | Now let's pause for a moment. |
| 0:27.0 | It's an entirely different scenario than we were ingested in the last morning mindset |
| 0:31.0 | because in the last morning mindset it had to do with King Nebuchadnezzar. |
| 0:36.0 | So this is the next king in the Babylonian line, King Bell Shazzar. |
| 0:41.0 | And we're going to see Daniel being an influence on him as well. |
| 0:46.0 | So Daniel's place in the royal court in Babylon outlived the first king. |
| 0:52.0 | And now he is in the presence of the second king. |
| 0:55.0 | We're about to see the situation unfold before us. |
| 0:58.0 | It's that King Bell Shazzar made a great feast for a thousand of his lords |
| 1:02.0 | and drank wine in front of the thousand. |
| 1:05.0 | Bell Shazzar, when he tasted the wine, commanded that the vessels of gold |
| 1:08.0 | and his silver that Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken out of the temple in Jerusalem, |
| 1:13.0 | be brought. |
| 1:14.0 | That the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. |
| 1:18.0 | Then he brought in the golden vessels that had been taken out of the temple, |
| 1:22.0 | the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines, |
