Hello, joining me today, best-selling author David Nichols, whose five novels to date include one day, made into a feature film with Anne Hathaway, Us, and most recently Sweet Sorrow.

His writing for TV includes the third series of Cold Feet and the Patrick Melrose drama starring Benedict

Cumberbatch. With David is actor Nina Sosanya, whose TV work ranges from W1A and Last

Tango in Halifax to his dark materials and Killing Eve. She was recently in the West End in Frozen

and later this year you'll be able to catch her with

Demi Moore and Jessica Brown Findlay in a USA Network production of Brave New World.

Nina, would you start us off? What's the book you're suggesting for a good read?

The book I'm suggesting is a book called The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. It's a young adult book.

It starts with the murder, the brutal murder of a whole family, except for a very small child who

manages to escape, the man Jack, which is the sinister murderer, and the toddler

manages to escape to a graveyard where he is met by the ghost of a couple who lived in Victorian

times, who then take him to the rest of the graveyard,

and he is taken in by the graveyard

and is allowed to grow up with the freedom of the graveyard.

And the manjack is put off for the moment.
