Hello, today, three strange, fantastical novels, each very different.

With me to introduce their good read are first, the stand-up writer and actor Liam Williams,

one third of sketch troop Sheeps, and perhaps best known for his comedy series Ladd Hood,

which started life on Radio 4, then morphed into a BBC TV show, of which series 3 will be on our screens next year.

With Liam is the vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Kate Stables, aka This Is The Kit.

Kate's band, also called This Is The Kit, has now released five albums, including bashed out, moonshine freeze, and most recently, off, off, on.

What is it?

So I've chosen Bartleby the Scrivener by Herman Melville.

More of a story than even a

novella, but technically a book. I wanted to choose something short for all our benefit. And also
